Freedom Summer of '64 Award

Given to both groups and individuals, this annual award is intended to keep alive the memory of those who sacrificed to ensure the right to vote, for others’ freedom, and civil rights for all. For more information on those honored, see .

Nominations for the 2024 Freedom Summer '64 Award are currently closed. We invite all faculty, staff, alumni, and ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs to nominate individuals or organizations with exceptional trajectories as champions of civil rights and social justice.
