is a program for eligible Miami Hamilton and Middletown 黑料社区s seeking a bachelor's degree. TRIO 黑料社区 success coaches can support you with academics, building your 黑料社区 resume, career planning, guidance on applying for graduate school, a community of fellow 黑料社区s, and much more. TRIO also offers a $1000 scholarship to eligible selected 黑料社区s.
黑料社区 partners with UnitedHealthcare (UHCSR) for 黑料社区 health insurance.
In , teams typically consist of two or three 黑料社区s. The projects are usually defined based on one or several of the following factors:1) Students' interest area, 2) Students' employer interest area, 3) ENT faculty research and teaching interest.
Senior design project analysis
Projects include design, development and test procedure in general. Projects should include not only design but also more detailed research and background. Even a very simple (or random) idea can be a good research and project as long as it is performed in a good scientific way including analytical calculations, simulations and physical tests (see ).
Students should have some analytical components in their analysis in addition to experiments and computer simulations and writing computer codes as part of their project.
Our History
1966
The Department of Engineering Technology, traces its origin to about half a century ago, in Middletown campus. In that year, associate-degree programs in Electrical, Mechanical and Metallurgical technologies were initially offered under the auspices of Oxford's four-year Industrial Technology department, which later changed its name to Engineering Technology.
1977
The associate degree department inherited several Industrial Education two-year programs.
1980
The four-year engineering technology program housed in Oxford converted to a Manufacturing Engineering program.
1984
The department merged a variety of industrial and engineering technology programs into two associate degree programs of Electrical Engineering Technology as well as Mechanical Engineering Technology.
1995
The department received Ohio Board of Regents’ approval to offer a Plus Two baccalaureate completion program in Engineering Technology (Electro-Mechanical concentration). This program is designed to articulate with existing associate degree programs at Miami and from other two-year programs across the State.
1996
Engineering Technology Department programs were accredited by ABET.
2001
A Mechanical concentration was added to the BS program to begin Fall 2002.
2005
The Electrical Engineering Technology associate degree was renamed Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology, and since 2013 the program is offering BS degree.
2014
All of our accredited concentrations were reacreddited by ABET for the maximum possible years, six years.
2019
All of ENT concentrations were reacreddited by ABET for the maximum possible years, six years.
2020
Robotics Engineering Technology Concentration has been added to the ENT Bachelor of Applied Science Degree.
2021
Manufacturing Foundations certificate has been added
