A premier summer day camp for exploring STEAM possibilities!

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø to the STEAM Studio—where 2nd- through 10th-graders explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math in real life while having fun, making friends, and creating memories at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Regionals' campuses. We seek to build tomorrow's leaders in STEAM. Join us for a great summer!

What is STEAM Studio?

STEAM Studio provides weekly themed activities for kids to imagine, design, and bring their ideas to life. STEAM expands STEM learning with an “A,” for arts—visual art and aesthetics, language arts, music, social studies, and the physical arts. 

  • Young people will experience traditional and nontraditional summer camp fun.
  • Sessions for 2nd- to 4th-graders, 5th- to 8th-graders, and an interactive research exploration for 9th- and 10th-graders.
  • Day camp sessions are held at the  and  campuses.
  • Prices vary by session. Scholarships may be available; contact us at STEAMStudio@MiamiOH.edu to learn more.

Mini Sessions for 2nd-, and 3rd- to 4th-Graders at Hamilton and Middletown

We offer day camp mini sessions for our younger scientists at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Middletown and Hamilton campuses.

STEAM Explorers | 2nd Grade | $120

Middletown and Hamilton: July 1 – 2, 2025

2-day session; limited to 24 campers per campus.

Camp hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This session is for those entering 2nd grade in the fall of 2025.

Note: This program begins on Tuesday

If your child loves discovering how things work, this camp is perfect for them! They’ll build teamwork skills, solve fun problems, and explore the exciting connections between science, technology, and engineering—all while making new friends

Get STEAM-ed | 3rd – 4th | $180

Middletown: June 16 – 18, 2025; June 30 – July 2, 2025
Hamilton: June 30 – July 2, 2025; July 16 – 18, 2025

3-day session; limited to 45 campers per campus.

Camp hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This session is for those entering 3rd and 4th grades in the fall of 2025.

Join us and jump into engaging activities through STEAM! Explore new concepts, solve fun challenges, and unleash your creativity. At the end of the session, campers will showcase their projects and share their discoveries with family and friends.

5th- to 10th-Grade Camp Sessions

June 16 – 18, 2025 | Middletown

Choose one session from the following options. Camp hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Culinary Chemist | 5th – 8th | $180

3-day session; limited to 45 campers

Get ready for a delicious adventure! Turn our kitchen into a lab and dive into hands-on experiments like making boba balls and more. Explore the science behind your favorite foods and wrap up the week with a fun celebration and tasty food tour.

Extreme STEAM Sports | 5th – 8th | $180

3-day session; limited to 45 campers

Combine the thrill of sports with the excitement of STEAM! From race car driver safety to dimples on a golf ball, this week will foster both a love for STEAM and various athletic pastimes. End the week showcasing your findings during our Sport Expo.

June 23 – 27, 2025 | Middletown

Choose one session from the following options. Camp hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Robot Masters | 5th – 8th | $300

5-day session; limited to 45 campers

Dive into coding, electrical wiring, and engineering as you design your own robot prototype. Explore what you would build and why, while learning the basics of robotics. At the end of the week, showcase your creation at the Robot Expo!

5-day session; limited to 45 campers

Level up your robotics skills by building and coding your own robotic mascot while exploring STEAM robotics careers. Showcase your creation at the Robot Expo at the end of the week!

**NOTE** Must have attended Robot Masters in 2024 to participate in this session.

July 7 – 11, 2025 | Middletown

Choose one session out of the following three options; camp hours are 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

5-day session; limited to 45 campers

Turn your love for gaming into game design this week! Explore programming a game for a micro:bit, creating a top-down game, and more. Wrap up the week by showcasing your projects at our Gaming Expo!

Creative Fusion | 5th – 8th | $300

5-day session; limited to 45 campers

Join us in exploring the limitless possibilities where art and STEAM converge! Using coding and science, we will create visually stunning works, encouraging participants to think outside the box. At the end of the week, showcase your masterpieces during our STEAM art show!

Are you a young woman passionate about science, technology, engineering, art, or mathematics? Be a part of an exciting journey as we ignite, educate, and empower the future generation of female leaders through dynamic learning in a vibrant, supportive community! Share your projects at the end of the week to inspire tomorrow's STEAMists!

Join us for a week of hands-on activities in Ecology, Geology, Astronomy, and more! Explore a variety of scientific fields and spark your curiosity with exciting projects throughout the week. End the adventure by showcasing your experiences at the Exploration Expo Open House.

Marvels of Medicine | 5th – 8th | $300

5-day session; limited to 45 campers

Explore biology and medicine as you uncover the secrets of DNA and the systems that keep us alive. Wrap up the week by sharing your discoveries at the BioInsights Showcase!

Ultimate Gamer | 5th – 8th | $300

5-day session; limited to 45 campers

Level Up Graduates: Elevate your gaming skills by building a game controller, experimenting with 3D-modeling, and exploring ESports and gaming careers. Dive deeper into advanced design techniques and bring your ideas to life. Showcase your creations at our Gaming Expo to cap off the week!

**NOTE** You must have attended Level Up in 2024 or the Middletown 2025 session to participate.

Cost $275 (per session)

Get ready for an unforgettable week of science at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø’s Regional Campuses, where rising 9th and 10th graders will jump into thrilling experiments, gather real-world data, and make an impact by contributing to a published research paper. But the adventure doesn’t stop there — after camp, campers will be part of the unique process of reviewing and contributing to the final published paper, gaining real scientific experience!
