Why was the Farmer School of Business the right choice for you?
I think it's helped me grow a lot, in multiple areas of my life. When I got here, I became a better ºÚÁÏÉçÇø because of what was expected of me. So, I'm very grateful for that. It's taught me a lot of good lessons. In the business school, you do a lot of work on professionalism — so that's an area that I think I've improved a lot on.
What makes Miami a great place for ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs?
One of the most important things is how invested the university is in ºÚÁÏÉçÇø organizations, so I can have the opportunity to do the cool things that I get to do with the ºÚÁÏÉçÇø foundation. It really shows that Miami is promoting a culture at college, other than just studying and working all the time. They want ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs to branch out and really make their college experience their own.
What kinds of things does the Miami Univesity Student Foundation do?
Our motto is ‘ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs helping ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs past, present, and future.’ We bring alumni back to campus to do a little bit of networking. It's super fun to hear about the different things that they did, but also there's a lot of similarities. For helping ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs of the present, we host events around the campus for the ºÚÁÏÉçÇø body to enjoy. We also have eight ºÚÁÏÉçÇø scholarships that we give out every semester — so that's how we help future ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs.
