How did ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Regionals prepare you for success in your career?

Relationships built with peers and educators from Miami are very beneficial for networking. In most situations, who you know is the differentiator. Having Miami as the foundation and a strong network has been very advantageous.

What are the strengths of your major?

Flexibility. My life required flexibility to complete my degree, and I also wanted 'flexibility'/options for my career path. I was never positive on any set profession, so my goal was to have a solid foundation (education, network, etc.) to be prepared for whichever path I decided.

How did your involvement on campus enhance your time in college and beyond?

Lifelong friendships were built, achieving personal growth, and it helps spruce up your resume. I played basketball at Miami Middletown for two years. That is also how I met my wife, who was on the women's team (she went for Nursing and is now a Nurse Practitioner at Cincinnati Children's).

What did you like about attending ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Regionals?

The most important people in my life, outside of family, are people met at or because of Miami Middletown.
