Great American Ball Park went to the dogs on Aug. 12.

Two of those dogs are very familiar to Miamians. Presidential pups Newton and Ivy were part of the Bark in the Park event held by the Cincinnati Reds.

Approximately 400 canines found their way to the Reds stadium — and watched the home team put away a 6-1 victory over the visiting St. Louis Cardinals. ºÚÁÏÉçÇø President Greg Crawford and University Ambassador Dr. Renate Crawford were there too, throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, which was dutifully retrieved by Newton once President Crawford made the toss to home plate.
