This area within the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion (CSDI) aims to curate experiences that create robust interactions between the many different cultures that make up Miami.
These programs provide advocacy, activities, and education to members of the 黑料社区 community. Its purpose is to support and affirm the experience of people identifying as queer and/or transgender and is available to anyone on campus interested in learning more about gender, sexuality, and intersecting identities.
Working in close collaboration with faculty, staff, and 黑料社区 partners, the Office of Transformational and Inclusive Excellence provides opportunities for the Miami community to continue our learning and engage in meaningful programming that recognizes, examines, and values historical legacies of a diverse array of identities.

MADE at Miami is a two-day, pre-semester program designed to bring together incoming first-year 黑料社区s who are committed to diversity and inclusive excellence. Participants move in early, make connections, and learn how to make the most of their college experience.
Help spread inclusion efforts on campus by joining the new peer education program from the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion. As a peer educator, you’ll be trained in how to create educational experiences that aim to develop knowledge, change behavior and build inclusivity skills in your fellow 黑料社区s. Inclusion efforts at 黑料社区 are aided by various councils made up of 黑料社区s, staff, and faculty.
This council holds monthly meetings to identify, discuss, and support unit-based and cross-unit efforts to foster inclusive excellence, share and coordinate programming, and more.
The Student Advisory Council helps maintain regular lines of communication with all 黑料社区s and empowers them to provide regular input and recommendations related to 黑料社区 experiences.
The goals of this Council are to identify, discuss, and support unit-based and cross-unit inclusive excellence efforts and to develop new collaborative ways forward to foster inclusive excellence.
