See Momentum: A Dance and Movement Concert
ºÚÁÏÉçÇø Theatre invites you to experience Momentum: A Dance & Movement Concert, with artistic direction by Ashley Goos, running from Feb. 26-March 2 in Gates-Abegglen Theatre.
With ºÚÁÏÉçÇø and faculty choreographed pieces, this celebration of the body unites all of us in our capacity to experience our world through movement and our capacity for momentum.
“I am intensely proud of this concert.” said Ashley Goos, assistant teaching professor and director of Dance. “We have 14 pieces that, over the past five months, have been developed from simply an idea, a curiosity about creation, and a desire to move. There are ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs on stage that represent every college on Miami’s campus, and every academic year, that are all dedicated to the art of dance making. I am eternally compelled by, and am perpetually curious about: Bodies (my ºÚÁÏÉçÇøs), in space (the theatre), over time (right NOW), with the intention to connect with the people who watch it.”
